I live in Ukraine. It is a sovereign state with its own territory, its bodies of state and power, and goverment, national emblem, state flag and anthem.
Speaking about the climate of Ukraine I can't help saying that it is moderate. Winter is rather mild with no severe frosts. Rivers and lakes freeze in winter. The average winter temperature is about 10-15 degrees below zero. But it often happens that winters are mild and rainy and this is the most unpleasant time.

I'm from Ukraine. The capital of our country is Kiev. It is a very beatiful city, especially in spring when the chestnut trees are in blossom.
Kiev is a large political, industrial, scientific and cultural centre. Its population is above 2 mln people. Kiev is situated on the Dnieper, the longest river in Ukraine.
The capital of Ukraine is one of the oldest cities in Europe, and it's no wonder because it was founded more than 1500 years ago. There is a legend about its founding.

Everybody knows there are four seasons in a year. They are spring, autumn, summer and winter. Of course, all seasons are nice and every season has its colour: spring for example is green, summer is bright, autumn is yellow, winter is white. Every season has its advantages.
Winter lasts for three months: December, January and February. The temperature in winter is low. It is frosty, and it often snows. Rivers and lakes are frozen. Everything is white with snow and it's a merry time for both children and grown-ups, they can go skating and sledging, but sometimes the weather is rainy and gloomy, and this is the most unpleasant time.

This year I have finished school and I want to say that I associate my working day with my school day till now because school was my second home. I want to tell you some words about my usual working day. I usually gоt up at seven o'clock in the morning. I think it's rather easy to get up so early in summer and though I am not a lazy-bones, it's very difficult to get up at 7 in winter. Then I turned on the TV set and did my morning exercises.
