Two Englishmen were talking (разговаривали) about young people in our days. One of them said: "Young people now are so different from what we were thirty years ago. Look at that young person (посмотри на того молодого человека) with short hair, smoking a cigarette and wearing jeans. What is it - a boy or a girl?
"It's a girl," said middle-aged person (человек средних лет)  sitting near them on a bench (на лавочке).
"I'm, sorry, sir," said the first Englishman. "Are you her father?"
"I'm not," was the answer. " I'm her mother."
