Everybody knows there are four seasons in a year. They are spring, autumn, summer and winter. Of course, all seasons are nice and every season has its colour: spring for example is green, summer is bright, autumn is yellow, winter is white. Every season has its advantages.
Winter lasts for three months: December, January and February. The temperature in winter is low. It is frosty, and it often snows. Rivers and lakes are frozen. Everything is white with snow and it's a merry time for both children and grown-ups, they can go skating and sledging, but sometimes the weather is rainy and gloomy, and this is the most unpleasant time.

I live in Ukraine. It is a sovereign state with its own territory, its bodies of state and power, and goverment, national emblem, state flag and anthem.
Speaking about the climate of Ukraine I can't help saying that it is moderate. Winter is rather mild with no severe frosts. Rivers and lakes freeze in winter. The average winter temperature is about 10-15 degrees below zero. But it often happens that winters are mild and rainy and this is the most unpleasant time.
