I am always looking forward to Saturdays and Sundays, because they are my days off. As a rule, my days off don't differ very much from each other. I usually get up an hour later than on my working days. I usually spend my Saturday and Sunday watching TV, reading books, walking, visiting my friends and so on.
But the way of spending my days off much depends upon the season. In winter my family and me go on skiing or sledging or playing snowballs. In summer we can go swimming or boating or hiking.

I'm from Ukraine. The capital of our country is Kiev. It is a very beatiful city, especially in spring when the chestnut trees are in blossom.
Kiev is a large political, industrial, scientific and cultural centre. Its population is above 2 mln people. Kiev is situated on the Dnieper, the longest river in Ukraine.
The capital of Ukraine is one of the oldest cities in Europe, and it's no wonder because it was founded more than 1500 years ago. There is a legend about its founding.

I live in a small town and it's a pity but there is no theatre in our town. But in Donetsk as you know there are two theatres: Drama theatre and Opera and ballet theatre. I can't say that I go to the theatre very often, but if I have a chance I usually go to Donetsk to see a new play or a ballet at the theatre.
I'll never forget my first visit to the Opera and Ballet House. My mother took me to see " A sleeping Beauty" by Chaikovsky. She bought tickets beforehand.
When we arrived at the theatre we could see many people in the hall. It was the first night, and the theatre was full. Some people had programms in their hands, and discussed the cast. We bought a programme for us too. Then we went to our seats.
